Situation

On the outskirts of Marseille and a stone's throw from Cassis, Roquefort la Bédoule has the particularity of culminating at 576 m. Due to its specificities, its terroir is full of resources. Grenache, Syrah, Cinssault, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Caladoc, Rolle, Ugni-Blanc, Clairette are all grape varieties that blend subtly to offer unique wines.

This terroir has been exploited for decades by passionate winegrowers. These cooperators pool their harvests to produce wines such as "Sur un Air de Mistral", "Tradition" or "Cigale".   The Domaine du Grand Rouvière and the Domaine Bini have also chosen to integrate the Vignerons de Roquefort la Bédoule and have their own Cuvée.

Domaine Grand Rouviere

Estate, classified AOC Côtes de Provence, in red, rosé and white wines. Producer harvesting for 5 generations, the Leydier family has enabled the development of a quality wine, which has won several medals.

Production is divided into Côtes de Provence AOC, red, rosé, white and local wine from the Bouches du Rhône, red and rosé. Domaine Grand Rouvière has kept its old grape varieties, such as Cinsault, Carignan and Clairette, which have made this wine so famous.

Domain Bini

Facing Cassis, Domaine BINI is located between the sea and the hills, the aridity of the place being fortunately tempered by the mild sea air. Directly above the watchtower, the hillside plots and the clay-limestone soil capture the sun's rays until sunset.

The altitude of the land, combined with the effects of the Mistral, ensures good sanitation from a phytosanitary point of view.

The 30 cooperators

The cooperators are the historical actors of the cooperative. Representing for the most part the old families of Roquefort la Bédoule, they perpetuate from generation to generation the love of the vine.

The harvest is often an opportunity to bring families and friends together for a family moment concluded by a good meal.
